2000 Sangiovese Almost Gone

We kept only eight cases of this fantastic wine in our library until it was just starting to peak. The discriminating palette will discover a sweet strawberry taste enhanced with accents of blackberries and cassis, with a bouquet to match. A velvety red, Crooked Vine Sangiovese will make a fine meal memorable and top off even the most sinful dessert. Because we use only the highest caliber grapes, production and availability for the Sangiovese is limited.

  Food Pairings: Pork, Lamb

NEW Zinfandel - Livermore Valley • 2003

An elegant well-rounded Zinfandel revealing vibrant flavors of raspberry & pepper folder over hints of cocoa, cardamom & ceder. I can see my father having this with a wide array of foods, from pasta with chanterelles to rich earthy flavors of ratatouille. Pairs well with a mild cigar.
